Wild at Heart BASIC is a valuable bloke's weekend to get raw & real with faith, identity and purpose, presented through video sessions of Wild at Heart Boot Camp (led by John Eldredge and his team through) and ministry facilitated by Dayspring Church HISmen (men's team from Sydney). Important considerations:
- Dry weekend (no alcohol, smoking or drugs used throughout or brought on-site as it is being hosted at Sherwood Christian Rehab Centre. See more info here)
- Radio silence (no digital communication devices)
- 18+ years old (due to the raw nature of content & ministry)
You will need to fully unplug. On arrival you will be invited to make one last call or message to those who may need to contact you in an emergency (they can contact the Sherwood Cliffs office on 02 66492139). Then turn off all devices. The outside world will try to distract people. This will be one of the best decisions you make. It will be so refreshing!
Built into the BASIC schedule are “covenants of silence” so that you have dedicated time to hear from God, journal, and go deeper into the issues raised in the sessions. These times of silence are the centerpiece of BASIC, and we need to preserve and protect these times.
STARTS Friday 7th June
- 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. attendees arrive
- No dinner served, so please eat on the way (all other meals catered)
- 7:00 - 8:35 p.m. session 1
- If you arrive late, better late than never. We kick off Session 2 on Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
ENDS Monday 10th June
- 12:00 p.m. (midday) finish time + optional lunch

Locals, please join us for the weekend by staying on-site. The impact of your experience will be limited if you try to travel home each night.
